The district of Sant Julià de Lòria is the district comprising the boundary between Spain and Andorra. It is the point through which one must pass when heading south by road towards Spain, where the first city we come across is La Seu d’Urgell. Sant Julià de Lòria has 9,706 inhabitants spread over a total surface of 61 km², divided into 10 municipalities: Sant Julià de Lòria, Aixovall, Bissisarri, Fontaneda, Auvinyà, Aixirivall, Juberri, Nagol, Certers, Llumeneres. Since 1997 it has been the home of the country's University (Universitat d’Andorra) and the park Naturlandia.
