Ordino is the most northerly district in Andorra. Located in the high mountains of the country's northern area, limited by the French border (Arieja) with the towns of Auzat, Lercoul, Siguer et Gestiès. Known for its dynamic cultural and gastronomic activity, Ordino cuenta has about 4,396 inhabitants, which are spread over an 85 km² surface (of which 33% are forests) in 8 municipalities: Ordino, Sornàs, Segudet, Ansalonga, La Cortinada, Llorts, Arans and El Serrat. It is laso one of the entry points to the Ordino – Arcalís ski slopes, which belong to Vallnord.
