Encamp is one of the high mountain districts in Andorra. With a total surface of 74 km2, this district joins the centre of the country (at 1,200m high) with the north-eastern boundary, in the municipality of Pas de la Casa, at 2,400m high, surrounded by nature and including a wide range of shops, restaurants, and at the foot of the Grandvalira ski slopes. Bordering the French department of Arieja and the Eastern Pyrenees. The 14,357 inhabitants of the Encamp district are spread over the municipalities of Les Bons, Encamp, El Pas de la Casa and Vila.
