Andorra is a micro-state in southern Europe, located in the Catalonian Pyrenees mountain range. it spreads over 468 km², and in 2018 its population amounted to 76.177 inhabitants (source: Statistics of the Government of Andorra).
Andorra borders on the south with Spain, with a Mediterranean climate, and on the north with France, with an alpine climate. Andorra has its own Constitution since 1993. Its official language is Catalan. Andorran, French and Spanish education systems coexist in Andorra. Andorra has had its own university (Universitat d'Andorra, Sant Julià de Lòria) since 1997. Andorra is a member of numerous international organizations, but does not belong to the European Union (particular conditions of residence and access to property, land or real estate).
